Job Summary

Emirates NBD is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Treasury Business Performance to join its Global Markets & Treasury Business Finance team at the Dubai headquarters. This pivotal role involves delivering comprehensive product control services, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the management of treasury operations in alignment with IFRS 9 and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily profit and loss reports for front office desks.

  • Test hedge effectiveness and maintain all related documentation.

  • Perform hedge accounting and ensure compliance with IFRS 9.

  • Deliver analytical reports and commentaries on treasury balance sheet activities and market trends.

  • Provide business requirement documentation for new systems or upgrades.

  • Validate investment valuations using independent pricing sources.

  • Support treasury control initiatives and internal audit requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, ACA preferred).

  • 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in finance or treasury within a major bank.

  • Strong understanding of treasury product lifecycles, hedge accounting, and IFRS 9.

  • Previous GCC banking experience preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
