AZ Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to regulations, and efficient delivery schedules. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to ensure smooth operations and vehicle maintenance.

Duties
• Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns; perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo documentation.
• Assist with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and organizing freight shipments.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures, hours of service, and transportation regulations.

Skills
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques.
• Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients.

Pay: $42,019.38-$144,464.20 per year
