Barista (SECOND CUP)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Operate the POS system to process customer orders accurately
– Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
– Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks and pastries
– Adhere to all food safety guidelines while handling and serving food items
– Assist in restocking inventory and monitoring supply levels
– Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during peak hours

Experience:
– Previous experience in cashiering or using POS systems is preferred
– Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent customer service skills with a helpful attitude towards customers
– Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
– Familiarity with food preparation, service, and handling procedures
– Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
