Requirements:

Friendly and approachable attitude — you’re often the first and last person a customer interacts with, so a warm smile goes a long way.
Previous experience handling cash, cards, and digital payments is ideal, but not essential if you’re a quick learner.
Accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with money, receipts, and daily reconciliation — being careful matters here.
Comfortable using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system or willing to learn how to operate one quickly.
Ability to stay calm and polite, even during busy hours or when dealing with customer concerns.
Basic math skills to handle change, totals, and simple accounting without relying entirely on a calculator.
Willingness to support other staff during quieter hours — such as stocking, cleaning, or assisting with small admin tasks.
Availability to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.

Qualifications:

G.C.E. O/L or equivalent educational qualification required.
Basic computer literacy (especially in using billing software or digital payment tools).
Good communication skills in Tamil; English and Sinhala are added advantages.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Honest, punctual, and dependable — qualities that truly matter in this role.
A team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt to different tasks throughout the day.
