Class 5 Driver with air breaks/ Q driver/worker

Overview

As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
• Safely operate Class 5 commercial vehicles equipped with air brakes across designated routes and delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Deliver goods promptly to various locations, including warehouse retail outlets, or customer sites
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
• Communicate effectively clients to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement (Q driver certification preferred)
• physically fit and can lift 50Ibs plus
• Can be a team player
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures using pallet jacks
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients

Pay: $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
