Category Details Job Title Pastry Cook Location Shipboard (Cruise Ship/Maritime) Department Pastry Shop / Galley Main Responsibilities – Operate and control daily pastry production
– Ensure quality, presentation, and food safety
– Prepare buffet displays and daily menus
– Follow USPH hygiene standards
– Maintain equipment and cleanliness
– Assist with forecasting and inventory Financial Duties – Minimize waste
– Control food costs
– Proper handling of supplies and equipment Team & Leadership – Supervise assigned workstations
– Evaluate and train staff
– Recommend hiring actions Qualifications – 3+ years experience in pastry (hotel/cruise/resort)
– High school or equivalent
– Knowledge of cleaning & pastry equipment use Training & Growth – Attend required meetings and trainings
– On-the-job mentoring and skill development Other Notes – Must be prepared for USPH inspections
– Will perform additional tasks as assigned
