Delivery Truck Driver

We are looking for a driver to take care of daily deliveries between our 5 locations and our warehouse. This position requires the individual to perform the below tasks while driving our company’s HINO TRUCK.
• *Duties**:

– Transport finished goods and raw materials between our retail stores and the distribution center (within Lina’s businesses)
– Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
– Ability to lift 20lbs an asset
– Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving
– Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
– Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
– Collect and verify delivery instructions
– Coordinate with store managers if required
– Weekends are required
– Preferred ability to inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
– Must have a clean driving record
– Must have prior experience driving Trucks
