Driver (Category 5 license)

The Driver (Category 5 – Light Bus) is responsible for safely transporting staff, workers, and materials using the company’s 13-seater van. The role ensures on-time transportation between office, sites, suppliers, and client locations, while maintaining professional conduct and ensuring the vehicle remains in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

Passenger Transportation
• Safely transport staff and workers to and from project sites, accommodations, office, and client locations.
• Ensure all passengers follow safety procedures.
• Plan routes to avoid delays and ensure timely arrival.

Deliveries & Logistics
• Deliver materials, documents, and samples to clients, suppliers, and government entities.
• Assist in loading and unloading items from the vehicle when required.
• Coordinate with the procurement and site teams for daily transport needs.

Vehicle Maintenance
• Conduct daily inspection of the 13-seater van (oil, water, battery, tire pressure, lights, AC, brakes).
• Schedule and take the vehicle for regular servicing and repairs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times.

Compliance & Safety
• Strictly follow UAE/RTA traffic rules and company safety protocols.
• Maintain updated vehicle records (registration, insurance, mulkiya).
• Report any accidents, violations, or vehicle issues immediately.

Professional Conduct
• Represent the company in a professional and polite manner.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling company documents or client details.
• Follow instructions from HR, Operations, and line managers regarding transportation schedules.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience in the UAE.
• Experience driving a passenger van or light bus is preferred.

Required License
• Valid UAE Driving License – Category 5 (Light Bus)

Required for operating a 13-seater vehicle.

Skills & Personal Attributes
• Strong knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic laws.
• Safe and defensive driving skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically able to assist with loading/unloading materials.

Additional Requirements
• Flexibility to work overtime, or during urgent site requirements.
• Ability to travel across all Emirates when needed.
• Clean driving record and good conduct.
