We are a well-established electrical contracting company known for delivering high-quality electrical services across Alberta. We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team as subcontractors for a variety of ongoing and upcoming projects.
Job Description:
As a Journeyman Electrician subcontractor, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical work including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for both residential projects. This is a subcontractor position with flexible work hours, allowing you to manage your schedule while working alongside our trusted team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to install or repair electrical systems
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards or potential issues
• Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with local electrical codes and regulations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues quickly and efficiently
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure client satisfaction
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License
• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician (minimum 3-5 years)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code requirements
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Own tools, transportation, and appropriate insurance (if applicable)
• Ability to work in both residential
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
