Management Trainee​/Project Engineer; Semiconductor Construction

Position: Management Trainee / Project Engineer (Semiconductor Construction)

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to) Project & Engineering Duties
• Coordinate site activities for mechanical, gas, chemical, and wastewater systems to ensure seamless integration within semiconductor plant facilities.
• Ensure strict adherence to Process Safety Management (PSM), risk assessments, and all regulatory and client-driven safety requirements.
• Assist in managing overall project schedule, budget tracking, resource planning, and progress reporting.
• Support multidisciplinary teams (MEP, CSA, process engineering, tool installation) to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on equipment specifications, vendor evaluation, quotations, and cost analysis.
• Troubleshoot site issues and support optimization of construction.
Operational & Site Control
• Support manpower control and daily workforce coordination in compliance with site rules.
• Manage daily operational tasks within FAB areas, including:
• Material in/out control for FAB2
• Personnel access control
• Ceiling plenum control points
• Cleanliness and environmental discipline within controlled areas
• Assist in warehouse management duties for the owner’s designated warehouse
• Ensure work teams adhere to required working hours, site discipline, overtime arrangements, and productivity expectations.
Compliance & Administration
• Ensure all personnel comply with Singapore’s legal requirements, including valid work permits and local regulatory obligations.
• Maintain accurate records for manpower, access logs, OT monitoring, and daily activity reports.
• Prepare documentation, presentations, method statements, and technical reports as assigned.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors or the owner.
Requirements
• Strong understanding of construction safety, PSM, and semiconductor facility requirements (advantageous).
• Ability to coordinate manpower and support daily site operations.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking owners and site stakeholders) and able to communicate in English.
• Physically fit and able to work in cleanroom or semiconductor construction environments (training provided).
• Willing to work overtime according to site requirements.
