Part-Time Production Worker – Warehouse

Critical Success Factors:
• Loading, unloading and general warehouse work
• Record movement of stock in and out of the work area
• Supply documents and reports as required
• Ensure proper rotation of product
• Equipment checks for malfunctions and proper sanitation and taking appropriate corrective action
• Ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, SOPs, OHSA and other pertinent policies, procedures and legislation
• Supporting health and safety programs
• Perform any other duties as required

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset
• Previous experience working with powered equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc)
• Physically able to lift >20 kg and frequently push or pull >70 kg with frequent lifting and bending
• Must be able to perform physical job demands
• Knowledge of plant and equipment operations
• Ability to identify, problem solve and research alternatives within the scope of the job
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team based environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Available for weekend overtime as production demands require
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, and reliable
• Duties may be reassigned due to sickness, vacation, compensation or absenteeism
• Shifts will change with proper notice

Part-time hours: 30+ per week
