About the role

above™ is a new UK-based operator expanding in the VLJ charter and managed aircraft market. We’re recruiting type-rated Captains and First Officers for our Embraer Phenom 100 operation. You’ll be joining a professional, standards-driven team with strong operational support, a collaborative cockpit culture, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your mission
• Operate as Captain or First Officer on the Embraer Phenom 100, ensuring safe and compliant flights under applicable UK CAA regulations
• Complete thorough flight preparation including performance, fuel planning, and weight & balance
• Uphold SOPs, apply strong CRM, and support a calm, professional cockpit environment
• Deliver a consistently customer-focused experience
• Maintain readiness for recurrent training/checking with a continuous improvement mindset
• Adapt confidently to dynamic schedules and varied destinations typical of private aviation

Candidate specification (essential)

Captains: UK-issued ATPL(A)

First Officers: UK-issued ATPL(A) or CPL/IR

All candidates must have:
• Current, valid Embraer Phenom 100 or 300 type rating
• ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
• UK-issued Class 1 medical
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
• Unrestricted passport enabling international travel
• Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence

Experience guidelines

Captains
• 2,000 hrs total time
• 1,000 hrs multi-engine
• 500 hrs jet

First Officers
• 1,000 hrs total time
• 500 hrs multi-engine
• 200 hrs jet
