Pickup and Delivery Driver

HI-WAY 9 GROUP OF COMPANIES
– Deliver product to customers throughout the Calgary area.
– Some deliveries are pallets onto a dock, but many are lowered and wheeled in by hand into customer facilities, so it can be physically challenging at times (i.e., moving appliances into retail stores or pallets of goods down stacked onto a wheeler and wheeled in).
– Valid class 5 driver’s licence and abstract, and be capable of driving a 5 ton refrigerated delivery truck. 2 years professional driving experience.
– Good knowledge of the communities in the area.
– Ability to pass a criminal record check and fit for work testing.
– Provide resume with 10 year work history.
– LTL freight experience an asset but not required.
– A good understanding of refrigeration in regards to maintaining the integrity of temperature sensitive product.
– Commitment to customer service
– Physical capabilities to handle heavy freight and work a long day
