Project Engineer (Bridge Maintenance Project)

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure Maintenance Team in Abu Dhabi, with a specialization in Bridge Construction / Maintenance. The ideal candidate must be a Civil Engineer with a strong technical background and minimum 10 years of UAE experience in managing and executing bridge-related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the planning, execution, and monitoring of bridge maintenance and rehabilitation works.
• Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work progress aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Ensure timely project delivery within budget and quality requirements.
• Prepare and review project documentation including method statements, progress reports, and technical submissions.
• Manage the procurement of materials and resources specific to bridge maintenance activities.
• Liaise with client representatives, government authorities, and project stakeholders for approvals and updates.
• Identify and troubleshoot construction issues and propose engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies on site.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience specifically in Bridge Construction and/or Maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practices, materials, and standards relevant to bridges.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED14,000.00 – AED16,000.00 per month
