Job Summary

Petrofac International is seeking a Senior Engineer Quality Mechanical Piping to ensure the highest quality standards in materials, engineering, and project execution. The role demands strong technical expertise, supplier quality management, and proficiency in international codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure quality requirements in procurement and design documentation.

• Develop and implement project-specific QCP, ITP, and ITRs for supplier and site quality systems.

• Conduct supplier capability assessments and issue evaluation reports.

• Review and approve supplier inspection procedures, material certificates, and personnel qualifications.

• Perform pre-inspection meetings and shop surveillance visits.

• Raise, monitor, and close non-conformance reports (NCRs) in line with project KPIs.

• Coordinate with engineering, expediting, and delivery teams on all procurement quality issues.

• Ensure verification of documentation, test reports, and certification during manufacturing and procurement.

• Lead quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide technical guidance and quality-related support to suppliers and project teams.

• Prepare and approve inspection and release reports after satisfactory completion of quality checks.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of EN, DNV, and EU standards for piping and mechanical systems.

• Experience with offshore, oil & gas, or windfarm projects.

• Proven experience with major EPC contractors in quality assurance roles.

• Certified Quality Lead Auditor with auditing experience.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

• Detail-oriented with proactive quality improvement capabilities.
