About the Role:
Are you a safety-conscious, highly skilled, and experienced driver looking for an exciting and challenging job opportunity? As a Front-End Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various locations. You will be responsible for operating our front-end load trucks, delivering to commercial and residential properties, and providing exceptional customer service at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate front-end load trucks safely and responsibly.
• Ensure timely pick-up of all customers and the route is completed safely without carry-overs every day.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring all equipment is maintained as per SSG procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills are required as you will be customers’ first point of contact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential. You will communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers daily.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime if required.
• Observant with a commitment to following all Super Save Group’s established safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively and safely to meet tight deadlines.
• May be required to assist with collections on other routes due to operational issues.
• Knowledge of the waste management industry and regulations is considered an asset.
• Seeking dedicated, punctual, and eager employees to join a dynamic team.
Key Qualifications:
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug & Alcohol).
• Front-end loader operator experience is preferred for the front end.
• Physically fit and able to safely lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) when necessary.
• Must be a team player and have safe working habits.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• May be required to assist with collections on other routes due to operational issues.
• Geographical knowledge of the Calgary and surrounding Area!
