We are a fast-growing retail and healthcare group based in the UAE, expanding our ERP capabilities to better serve our operational and financial workflows. We’re seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant to lead system customizations, improve user experience, and develop smart, scalable technical solutions tailored to our business.

Job Description:

As a D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant, you will design, develop, and implement enhancements to the Dynamics 365 F&O platform, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and technical integration. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end technical solutions across key modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customize forms, workflows, and business logic using X++ and Visual Studio
• Improve UI/UX for different user groups through layout optimization and usability enhancements
• Build custom automation, workflows, and business process extensions
• Design and expose custom OData APIs and service endpoints for integrations
• Develop and consume external REST/SOAP APIs using X++ and .NET libraries
• Configure API security using OAuth2, Azure AD, and role-based access
• Integrate with third-party systems (e.g., logistics, payroll, POS, mobile apps)
• Develop reports using Power BI, SSRS, and embedded analytics
• Manage environment configurations, code deployments, and ALM practices using LCS and Azure DevOps
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with the functional team to translate business requirements into technical designs

Required Qualifications:
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Technical Consultant in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Proficient in X++, SQL, OData, DMF, and Azure DevOps
• Experience with custom API development (OData, REST, SOAP) and integration design
• Strong understanding of the D365 data model and modular architecture
• Familiar with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and deployment pipelines
• Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and deliver production-ready solutions
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred:
• Experience in Retail, Healthcare, or Supply Chain domains
• Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, or Azure Integration Services
• Familiarity with best practices for extensions vs. overlayering
