Waiter/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic waiterto join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and a strong understanding of beverage preparation and service. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service.

Duties
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining basic maths skills for processing payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills
• Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Effective time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to beverage and food service.
• Experience in food preparation within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills, fostering positive interactions with guests and team members alike.
