Virtusa is seeking skilled and enthusiastic .NET Developers to join our Core Technology team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. As a member of our development team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, supporting our global clients across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices in coding standards and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and production incidents in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring emerging technologies and proposing enhancements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks is an advantage.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and database management using SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
